Hotel Real Alma - Oaxaca

Clean room, great wi-fi. Luggage storage helpful but breakfast options were lacking.

Location: the hotel was right by the city center and other sights, most tourist attractions and the main square. It also was in a nice neighborhood.

Didn't like the area, it was not very nice.

The room was good sized and functional with central heating, an individual safe and multi-channel TV.

Fantastic little and modern hotel with free parking and favourable location so close to everything. Helpful and really helpful staff and management. A wide array of goodies for breakfast. Great service and good value. Everything excellent.

The location was incredible, at walking distance from Zocalo Square. The room was immaculately clean and provided with hairdryer, great AC. The staff was helpful and very very helpful in all services.

Comfortable room with excellent water pressure. The location was ideal, filled with food stalls, and the friendly staff made a real difference.

The balcony view was misleading, and the noise from the corridor ruined any sense of privacy!!! Improvements needed for room layout, and better communication would go a long way!!!

great central spot for exploring oaxaca's vibrant scene

my stay offered easy access to amazing attractions like the oaxaca cathedral just a few steps away and the beautiful mercado de artesanias, only a quick walk down the street, perfect for leisurely strolls through this vibrant city.

Room size suited my solo needs. Peaceful after 11 PM with no traffic noise outside.

Rooms sit above reception. My bathroom was quite cramped, hard to navigate when accessing the shower, and it felt tight for two. The advertised coffee maker didn't exist unless you paid for one. Breakfast is dismal, strictly a fruit bowl and coffee. A disappointing standard. Expectations didn't meet reality given the price.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from local food stalls and attractions like the Oaxaca Cathedral, making it convenient for exploration.

The breakfast included was quite disappointing, providing only a basic selection of coffee and dry bread, with little else offered without additional charge.

The staff demonstrated really good service, especially when they surprised my partner with a birthday cake and decorations. The location offered easy access to many food stalls and was safe for strolling around the central area. While the lobby and terrace had nice views, there were issues with the room's unpleasant smell that required staff assistance to address, less than ideal.

Breakfast on the rooftop terrace offered fine views and included a variety of dishes, with the eggs being a standout. The bathroom was quite cramped and showed signs of wear, while the noise from nearby rooms made sleeping a bit challenging at times.

Strongly recommend for a short stint

Comfortable room, convenient location, with good wi-fi and 24-hour reception for any assistance needed during our five-night stay in a beautiful room where we enjoyed the nice view while having breakfast, also just a short 6 km from the nearest airport.

I enjoyed the comfortable linens, made the sleep a bit better after the long days of exploration. Avoid peak breakfast hours for a quieter experience.

Real Alma is a clean and simple hotel located just four blocks from the zocalo, in a vibrant area filled with street vendors and locals. The rooftop terrace offers fine views of the city. The staff was kind and helpful, contributing to a pleasant stay while assisting with local tours and recommendations.
